Alnico and Alcomax magnet materials are very stable and are ideal for very high temperature applications - up to 550°C!!

Note: Assemblies may only be suitable for much lower temperatures. They are made from more than one material and their differing expansion rates may cause the assembly to fail.

Alnico / Alcomax material is very hard and can only be machined by grinding.
