Material
The tape is made from strontium ferrite magnet material, bonded into a thermo-plastic which is then extruded as a strip.

Use with steel tape for secondary glazing or for signs and labels. The steel tape has an adhesive back and can be permanently fixed to a surface to allow magnets, magnetic tape and magnetic sheets to be attached and removed easily.

Adhesives
· Plain
(no adhesive)

· Standard adhesive backed
(suitable for applying to card)

· Premium adhesive backed
(suitable for applying to metal and plastics).

(suitable for applying to uneven surfaces).


Polarity
Magnetic tapes can be magnetised as A, B, or mating. If you are using a system that requires the magnet to attach to a magnet rather than a steel surface you will need to use 'mag A' with 'mag B' or use a mating profile.

· 10mm tapes are supplied 'mating' as standard
· 12.7mm tapes are supplied 'magnetised A' as standard
· 20mm tapes are supplied 'mating' as standard
· 25.4mm tapes are supplied 'magnetised B' as standard

All the tapes on our website are sold magnetised to their standard. We offer the following packs of A+B material but please get in touch if you have other requirements.

Material that is magnetised B is identified by a groove running centrally down the length of the tape.

Don't forget that using magnet to magnet offers twice the holding force of magnet to steel.

Basic Pack - use to attach things together with perfect alignment. The pack contains:

1x 12.7 x 1.5 x 30m magnetic tape with premium adhesive - magnetised A
1x 12.7 x 1.5 x 30m magnetic tape with premium adhesive - magnetised B

Display Pack - Use for poster presentations, exhibitions and retail displays. Stick the 25.4mm tape to the wall and the 12.7mm wide to the edges of your posters. Place the 2 12.7mm tapes on the 25.4mm tape, they will meet in the middle and snap into alignment to create a seemless finish to your display. The pack contains:

1x 25.4 x 1.5 x 30m magnetic tape with premium adhesive - magnetised B
2x 12.7 x 1.5 x 30m magnetic tape with premium adhesive - magnetised A
