HAND HELD MAGNETIC SWEEPER / MAGNETIC BRUSH
- Lightweight design - only 2kg (4.4lb)
- Very simple to use - just roll it along the floor
- Fast collection of ferrous debris from floor
- Quick release - a quick pull on the handle-mounted quick-release trigger releases anything attached to the sweeper head
- No power supply required - this simply uses permanent magnets
- 385mm wide (just over 15 inches) with approx 350mm active width
- Adjustable telescopic handle up to 1050mm long
Quickly and easily clear workshop and factory floors, offices, sports pitches, garages and car parks of spilt ferrous items or potentially damaging and dangerous metal debris such as nails, pins, staples, mild steel shards, nuts, bolts, screws, paperclips, metal shavings and metal fragments.
Simply glide the Magnetic Sweeper over the area - any ferrous (e.g. mild steel) debris will be lifted up to the permanent magnets on the underside of the sweeper). Once collected, take the Magnetic Sweeper over to the bin and use the release mechanism on the handle to move the magnets away and the ferrous debris will fall away into the bin.
The Magnetic Sweepers can be used in many environments at work and in and around home. The Magnetic Sweepers can even be used in stables as an additional check to remove sharp mild steel objects in the straw and bedding that the horse will walk over and lay upon - farriers also use them to remove the cut nails and files away shards from changing the horse shoes in the courtyards.
If the material is magnetic (ferritic materails such as mild steel, chrome, magnetic stainless, some magnetic stainless steel shards) they will be attracted to the magnets. Non-magnetic materials (brass, plastics, non-magnetic stainless steel shards, aluminium, copper) will not attract to the magnet. The material needs to have a high enough magnetic permeability to be attracted to the magnetic surface of the sweeper. A small gap to the material also helps (for stronger magnetic fields) - this is why magnetic sweepers are always close to the floor when in use.
The Magnetic Sweepers are also called Magnetic Brooms and Hand Held Magnetic Sweepers.
The Hand Held Magnetic Sweeper requires no external power to operate - permanent magnets provide all the performance. Ferrous collection is fast and simple to perform.
